Brief history

The Shire of Mordengaard (nee The Duchy of Mordengaard under the Kingdom of the Burning Lands) is a province under the Kingdom of the WetLands founded in 1989.

Mordengaard is an Amtgard chapter with semi-weekly meetings.

What you can expect

Amtgard is a live-action battlegame (LABG) which is similar to live-action roleplay (LARP), except the focus is more on combat and less on character. While the rules of Amtgard include fantasy elements and character-building concepts (character classes, including magic classes), there is no weekly structure or plot; any storyline that may exist at one time at one park (province) will probably have little bearing at other parks or at other times.
